College Relations Project Manager Assistant


The Project Manager Assistant will use his/her working knowledge of general office practices, and excellent oral and written communication skills to support the activities of the Alumni Office.  The Assistant is responsible for providing general office assistance and may be assigned special projects as needed.

The ideal candidate possesses maturity, good personality, punctuality, dependability, accuracy and must be able to follow instructions.  The candidate must be self-motivated and able to pay attention to minute details.  The work environment is a general office setting with limited strenuous physical demands - able to move boxes up to 30 lbs.

Work Schedule

The Project Manager Assistant will make his/her own schedule.  The supervisor is flexible  with schedule according to class/athletics schedules.  The Project Manager Assistant should expect to schedule work between the hours of 9:30am and 4:30pm.  During special events such as Homecoming, the Assistant should expect to work nights or weekends.  


The Project Manager Assistant will work in the Alumni House.


Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- Assist with individual alumni communications as needed

- Assist before/during events as needed (registration, check-in, etc.)

- Assist with general office tasks (filings, copying, etc.)

- Manage inventory of Alumni Office materials

- Assist with mailings

The successful candidate will have an exemplary work ethic, be able to assist the Alumni Office staff, understand the "big picture" while also not being afraid to roll up his/her sleeves to do the work that will support an administrative community that nourishes the mind, body, and spirit of the whole student.
