Student Worker Study Regulations

As a part of the application process, you will be required to read the regulations listed below and agree to abide by them.

  1. Your work schedule is arranged with your supervisor according to:
    1. Student class schedule
    2. Approved maximum hours
    3. The needs of your assigned department
  2. You and your supervisor are required to keep daily records of hours worked by electronically recording and reporting this data on an Excel personal time sheet. This time sheet is kept by your supervisor. It is your responsibility to provide accurate data to your supervisor on the time sheet by the designated dates.
  3. You may not work in excess of the total number of approved hours. Violation of this will result in termination as stated in 5a below and will not be reinstated. It is your responsibility to keep up with hours.
  4. Once you are assigned to a position, you may or may not be able to be reassigned within the current school year. If your job is terminated because of unsatisfactory performance, you will not be assigned to another job.
  5. Your continued employment is subject to:
    1. Your compliance with all Work Study Regulations
    2. Your supervisor’s satisfaction with your job performance
    3. Your continued financial need
    4. The availability of funds for the work program
